Our Milestones
- Got engaged in marketing & distribution of Biotronik range of pacemakers, stents & angioplasty accessories.
- From being a cardiology centric company, it diversified into pathology equipment and consumables by becoming the channel partner for Ortho-clinical Diagnostics (OCD), a J&J group company. It kept on adding newer agencies like Bausch & Lomb in Ophthalmology, Fischer & Paykel etc.
- The major growth shift came in 2006, when Datascope appointed Emergent as its all India distributors for Intra-aortic balloon pump and catheters.
- From being a regional player, Emergent transformed itself into an all India company.
- Emergent floated two sister concerns named Medico Equipments (I) Pvt. Ltd to market Medtronic implantable cardiac pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) and Frontier Medi-Tech (I) Pvt. Ltd to market stents and angioplasty accessories.
- Emergent entered into the field of patient monitoring through Mindray Corporation (China). The next major breakthrough was when Emergent signed up with Volcano Corporation to promote their Intravascular Ultrasound and Fractional Floor Reserve Catheters.
- It also entered into the field of Third Party Maintenance by providing installation services and customer support for Cordis Webster and Sterrad, a J&J group company.
- Emergent ventured into manufacturing in the year 2008 with the product called Slimview, the slimmest X-Ray view box in India. It went on to diversify further with BriteView, the Mammography view box and Visual therapy Murals.
- It was also actively involved in turnkey projects in collaboration with MGI India and executed a few projects in Maharashtra – Turnkey design and construction of Ultra Clean Operating Theatres including a four theatre complex at Pune and a 13 theatre complex at Nanded for the Government of Maharashtra, Hinduja Hospital & Sir J J Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.
- It came up with the healthcare consultancy division and was on the board for three major hospital projects in Goa and Maharashtra.
- Company believes in building intellectual property for the betterment of emergency care and has designed a state-of-the-art Advanced Life Support Ambulance called LIFE SAVER which is bound to revolutionize emergency care and significantly improve prognosis of both cardiac and trauma emergencies.
